The soil does not dominate the seed, nor does it have to approve of the seed. The seed grows up through the soil and comes out above.
So too does the Word of God allow us to not be under the circumstances but rise above and grow through and rise as we look up and live. Even seeds that we’ve planted a long time ago can rise after a shower of rain. The soil is not a boundary for the seed.
And seeds break through little by little and if we, ‘don’t pull up our sprouts of hope’, can grow into something amazing.
Can we, when we see tiny glimpses of change in ourselves or another, give it our approval? A tiny change in a health condition, yes I see the beginnings of a miracle, and give praise for it. A tiny improvement in a child’s willingness?
I had a thought loop running through my head this week, I’m so tired amongst other things, and while in the natural, yes it’s the end of a long term of homeschooling and tutoring, I wasn’t happy with the fruit being produced in my thought cycles, and so I asked God how do I reset my brain, and also for my husband who is working massive days at the moment, and for some friends who are going through hard health things, hard relationship things?
We know He is our strength, I’ve studied that out before, and even written about building strongholds of the heart and made a free strength Scripture printable and yet He was so gracious to highlight to me over the next few days a number of songs with beautiful confessions of truth in them, because we are

One night I felt so specifically look up the song Saviour King by Hillsong and the first few lines blew me away – And now the weak, Say, “I have strength by the spirit of power that raised Christ from the dead”
And now the poor stand and confess
That my portion is You, and I’m more than blessed
And even as I was coming inside to type all this up for some friends and journal it for myself, as I walked into the room, the song Cornerstone by Hillsong was playing – Weak made strong, through the Saviour’s Love, through the storm, He is Lord, Lord of All!
I love that these songs are highlighting the strength that comes to us THROUGH Him.

With Jesus in me, I’m free indeed, so I will not be ashamed, when troubles and fears, start coming near, I lift my voice and sing.
As we agree with God and His promises to us, it rewires our brain, it’s part of studying to show ourselves approved.
I’ve been studying the word Keep for months and just finished a Scripture Study and Free Printable, and one thing that came to me is when we can say ‘Keep Out’ to the enemy. God’s Word is a literal boundary to him, as we pray it over our lives and those around us.
We have the power to approve or disprove enemy access through the Word of God.
