All Scriptures – Free Printable (Understanding Our Generous Portion)

  • The freedom from small mindedness – would you believe that’s one of the definitions of generosity?

God certainly isn’t small minded.

He has a generous portion for us, including salvation, healing whether physical, or emotional and deliverance from our fears.

The story of Abraham keeps standing out to me and how generous God was with Abraham which enabled him to be generous in return.

God has so much for us.  So many spiritual riches including the ability to pray for others and see them set free from sickness and other dramas that are holding them back.

Just this month I’ve seen three cases of morning sickness dramatically improve, my husband prayed for someone and their asthma attack stopped and he prayed for his cousin and saw a case of debilitating shingles that had attacked his stomach and kept him in bed for a month completely healed overnight.

  • And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. 2 Cor 9:8
(Moses) said, “Please show me Your glory.” Then He said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you.” Ex 33:18-19

I heard a sermon this weekend by William Wood based on Genesis. ‘God said let us make man in our own image, in the image of God He created him, male and female He created them.”

Scriptures were shared that I knew well, but sometimes someone can say the same thing in a different way and it hits differently. It’s another facet of truth.

God is so secure in His image, He’s entrusted it to you.

Your very image is an act of spiritual warfare because you are made in God’s image.

Satan is the victim to our victory through Christ.
  • Anything that helps me to understand ALL that Jesus died to give me is a helpful resource. Jesus has given us a generous portion.

Have a listen to this song, Generous Portion by Cageless Birds that the above lyrics are taken from.

We know theoretically of what Jesus died to give us but how do we get access to it?

Actually it was just pre Covid when I started looking up Who God says we are and in the things He has blessed us with and writing them out in categories that it began to click in my head just how generous He is.

King James Bible
That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

Our faith begins to become effectual as we acknowledge every good thing we have in Christ.

Philemon 1:6

New Living Translation
And I am praying that you will put into action the generosity that comes from your faith as you understand and experience all the good things we have in Christ.

God is able to make all grace abound

There are actually so many Scriptures about what we have IN CHRIST.

Kenneth Hagin used to tell his mentees to take a highlighter and go through highlighting every time in the New Testament that they found the phrase IN CHRIST.

Here is just a snippet of what I began writing out, and each heading had between 4-8 references, just whatever I could fit on the page.  Writing actually rewires our brain and God says to have our mind renewed by His Word.  I highly recommend Scripture writing as a way to build positive strongholds in our mind, to receive ALL that He wants to give us.
